Germany gives tax rebates for solar panels.
Calif has passed laws to require CO2 reductions.
There are far more fuel efficient, and hybrid cars on the road today.
The federal government needs to take some actions however.
That’s not been done yet.
Fast food and filling food with toxins are making humans fat and ugly and less capable of reproducing, so ultimately, humans will look like Jabba the Hut and become extinct, then the environment will heal itself.
Nothing on the global or national level since Copenhagen climate conference was a failure the US Senate has ignored legislation passed by the House. Organizations, progressive companies, and green individuals continue to espouse action on this topic. Whether it’s true or not, the atmosphere sure doesn’t need any more emissions that is currently swallows when the technology exists to limit these contaminates.
Sad to say, just about nothing is on the horizon to deal with climate change. Nobody wants to be first to make changes for fear the ‘other guy’ will cheat putting the ‘first changer’ at an economic disadvantage. Governments are dominated by various trans national corporations that exert tremendous influence when it comes to laws and regulations. In the US the entire GOP/Trashbag party, with a few individual exceptions are no more than stooges for the oil and coal mafias. These people have no intention of losing their cash cow no matter what science says is an absolute fact. Through various right wing organizations these people funnel a lot of money to make the case that all science in regard to climate change is nonsense and is ‘pushed’ by ‘the liberals’ that want to raise your taxes. The general public is constantly propagandized by right wing radio dummies and FOX news in regard to this issue. According to them ‘global warming’ and climate change is the work of ‘socialists’ that want to ‘destroy America’ and ‘capitalism’. While some individuals and groups may want to change the face of power generation to minimize the use of fossil fuels to avoid the possibility of a runaway greenhouse effect the effect of this effort is way to small and unfocused to actually unseat the power of the polluters. Add to that the massive growth of population there doesn’t appear to much of a silver lining involved in this issue. Bummer for us.

The Earth and Climate are not going anywhere. The people are! How arrogant to think man is going to somehow save Earth and the Environment. The best minds can’t even put a cork in a pipe at the bottom of sea. And now were going to save the Climate. No Climate is going to fix us.

Actually, there are many, many things that are being done to "fix climate change", that is, stop or even reverse climate change. There are vast grassroots movements that people in general have started and joined by the millions to address the problems we face from climate change. Governments are beginning to consider and pass legislation designed to prevent further destruction of the earth, the only planet we currently have. Large corporations, businesses and organizations are beginning to do their part in helping to maintain and produce a clean, healthy and green environment. Big business is going green !
